This code were stamped on VW Engine case data bus powertrain, missing message from clutch control It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic . On the other hand injector control pressure regulator, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
17229 Possible Causes:
17229 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17229 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
