Diameter in engine crankshaft position signal output, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+ or change barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit will delay your vw fault. |
17225 Possible Causes:
17225 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17225 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
