Staring in engine o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start load signal range / performance also accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), power supply malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
17223 Possible Causes:
17223 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 17223 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control system, forced idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
