The problem is about fuel additive control module warning lamp request the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too high or change coolant pump control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
17221 Possible Causes:
17221 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17221 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, lower limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
