The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault cylinder 6 above knock threshold retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start cylinder 4 above knock threshold . So for next fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
17219 Possible Causes:
17219 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17219 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, implausible message from level control module (j197)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
