Accumulated in electronic control units so injection pump, timing calibration not learned causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean also pressure control valve 1 (n215), open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
17219 Possible Causes:
17219 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 17219 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust pressure sensor, low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
