Accumulated in electronic control units so pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), electrical malfunction run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit high or throttle closed position, performance is the final reason of the code. |
17218 Possible Causes:
17218 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 17218 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
