Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust pressure sensor It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), open / short to ground also o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
17217 Possible Causes:
17217 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 17217 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
