Diagnosing engine bar with a camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration or change direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
17217 Possible Causes:
17217 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17217 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
