Staring in engine turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, short to ground you can see the linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
17204 Possible Causes:
17204 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 17204 Code
- Inspect all the connections steering angle signal, error message from steering angle sensor
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
