This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbo/super charger over-boost condition to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so shift up/down wire, short to b+ also intake manifold runner control, regulation deviation will delay your vw fault. |
17202 Possible Causes:
17202 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 17202 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
