The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data bus powertrain, missing message from acceleration request It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), range / performance and pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
17201 Possible Causes:
17201 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 17201 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant degassing valve, control circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
