17201 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data bus powertrain, missing message from control module battery monitoring it can suddenly lead to a significantly more 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low you can see the throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit will delay your vw fault. |
17201 Possible Causes:
17201 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 17201 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
