This something to do with the intake camshaft timing clutch slip control, signal too high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit low also exhaust bank 3, probe 1 electrical error in the electric circuit is the final reason of the code. |
17198 Possible Causes:
17198 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power input, signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
