This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data bus powertrain, implausible message of the abs control module It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake torque management feedback signal "b", range / performance or change exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |
17197 Possible Causes:
17197 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17197 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
