17196 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault load signal stuck off run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to ground and wait then throttle actuator control motor, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
17196 Possible Causes:
17196 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 17196 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection air pump control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
