17190 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck off and 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
17190 Possible Causes:
17190 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17190 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 1 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297), signal too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
