Diagnosing engine bar with data bus powertrain, missing message from immobilizer causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic also controller pin coding, implausible signal is the final reason of the code. |
17185 Possible Causes:
17185 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 17185 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
