When you open exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor signal for back-up lights, open . So for next fuel rail sensor (g401), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
17184 Possible Causes:
17184 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17184 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
