The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit / open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle/pedal position sensor 'e', minimum stop performance or mil control circuit, open / short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
17183 Possible Causes:
17183 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17183 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, upper stop not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
