This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 3, probe 2 no activity run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground you can see the immobilizer query not yet performed will delay your vw fault. |
17180 Possible Causes:
17180 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17180 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
