The problem is about actuator supply voltage "b", circuit /open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor power supply voltage, open circuit or change malfunction indication light (k83), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
17180 Possible Causes:
17180 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 17180 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
