The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault valve for torque support mount, short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature bank 1, too high and wait then 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
17179 Possible Causes:
17179 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17179 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 10 (n306), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
