The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit / open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data bus powertrain, missing message for central electric controller you can see the control module defective is the final reason of the code. |
17178 Possible Causes:
17178 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
