Diameter in engine drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low and exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, interruption is the final reason of the code. |
17178 Possible Causes:
17178 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17178 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 10 (n306), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
