Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust pressure sensor 2, high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed a camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit high and exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, signal too slowly is the final reason of the code. |
17174 Possible Causes:
17174 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 17174 Code
- Inspect all the connections auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
