The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault hydraulic pressure sensor 1, range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses also voltage supply relay, electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
17172 Possible Causes:
17172 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 17172 Code
- Inspect all the connections water in fuel sensor, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
