Staring in engine engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for starting with empty tank-nxxx, open or short to ground or change reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit will delay your vw fault. |
17171 Possible Causes:
17171 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17171 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
