The problem is about exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel level sensor 2, circuit low voltage or a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
17170 Possible Causes:
17170 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17170 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system switching valve, performance / stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
