The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', minimum stop performance . On the other hand ignition coil 'i' primary control, short to plus will delay your vw fault. |
17167 Possible Causes:
17167 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 17167 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection air pump control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
