The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit range / performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean or change coolant circulation pump relay (j151), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
17165 Possible Causes:
17165 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17165 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, implausible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
