17165 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), circuit low input the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal low or change control of valves pump / nozzle, short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
17165 Possible Causes:
17165 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17165 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control motor current, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
