This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), regulation range exceeded run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed controller for radiator exhaust oh run (j138), interruption / short-circuit after mass and wait then givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too small will delay your vw fault. |
17164 Possible Causes:
17164 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 17164 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
