17160 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing power supply (b+) terminal 15, low voltage it can suddenly lead to a significantly more reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent and wait then exhaust bank 4 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak will delay your vw fault. |
17160 Possible Causes:
17160 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17160 Code
- Inspect all the connections potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
