Diagnosing engine bar with control unit programming communication error run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed glow plug / heater relay, circuit short to b+ . On the other hand valve for engine storage (n144/145), interruption / short-circuit after mass is the final reason of the code. |
17159 Possible Causes:
17159 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 17159 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
