Staring in engine intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck closed retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), high or exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, electrical error in the electric circuit will delay your vw fault. |
17158 Possible Causes:
17158 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 17158 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
