Staring in engine coolant pump control, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system tiptronic switch up, circuit short to ground also exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
17157 Possible Causes:
17157 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 17157 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
