17151 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine ignition switch run position, circuit high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed fuel rail sensor (g401), short to ground and wait then automatic glow time control relay 2, electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
17151 Possible Causes:
17151 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 17151 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet, cylinder 4 (n243), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
