Diagnosing engine bar with glow plug / heater relay, circuit open / short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+ or change ignition coil cylinder 14, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
17151 Possible Causes:
17151 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17151 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure sensor, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
