Diagnosing engine bar with engine torque reduction, short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start transmission temperature control and data bus powertrain, missing message from central electronics is the final reason of the code. |
17148 Possible Causes:
17148 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17148 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), regulation range exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
