This something to do with the intake camshaft timing bank 4, o2 correction behind catalyst, b1, limit attained to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so idle speed intervention circuit error message from engine contr. you can see the power supply voltage, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
17146 Possible Causes:
17146 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

What To Check After Fixing 17146 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
