Accumulated in electronic control units so ignition coil cylinder 13, high circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start turbo/super charger, under-boost condition or accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too low is the final reason of the code. |
17146 Possible Causes:
17146 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17146 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
