This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor please check dtc memory of steering angle sensor or change throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'b' / 'c', voltage correlation is the final reason of the code. |
17144 Possible Causes:
17144 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 17144 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
