This something to do with the intake camshaft timing pressure control solenoid 5 (n233), electrical malfunction to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground or change powertrain data bus, missing message from instrument cluster will delay your vw fault. |
17133 Possible Causes:
17133 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17133 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
