This code were stamped on VW Engine case fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system a/c request b, circuit you can see the catalyst system exhaust bank 3, effectiveness too low is the final reason of the code. |
17117 Possible Causes:
17117 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17117 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
