This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit low and ignition coil 'f' secondary circuit, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
17112 Possible Causes:
17112 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17112 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
