The problem is about coolant fan (v7), open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system signal for back-up lights, short to ground and o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean will delay your vw fault. |
17111 Possible Causes:
17111 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 17111 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel supply heater, control circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
