Diagnosing engine bar with valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start egr system, regulation range not reached and valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), regulation range exceeded is the final reason of the code. |
17103 Possible Causes:
17103 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 17103 Code
- Inspect all the connections barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
