17101 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing minimum throttle position, not learned causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration also signal for back-up lights, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
17101 Possible Causes:
17101 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 17101 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger (tc)control module 2, faulty
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
