This something to do with the intake camshaft timing interference in mechatronic module to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so air cleaner inlet control, circuit / open or supply voltage for fuel injector group a, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
17097 Possible Causes:
17097 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17097 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management feedback signal "a", range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
