17097 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about throttle closed position, performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit / open and wait then transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), no signal is the final reason of the code. |
17097 Possible Causes:
17097 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17097 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd' / 'f', voltage correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
