This something to do with the intake camshaft timing injector cylinder 14 (n392), open circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open you can see the 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
17091 Possible Causes:
17091 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17091 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
