This something to do with the intake camshaft timing event data recorder request, circuit high to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance or change nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
17090 Possible Causes:
17090 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 17090 Code
- Inspect all the connections planetary overdrive / low range, mechanical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
