17088 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with fuel pump "a", low flow / performance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more turbocharger / supercharger boost system performance also relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
17088 Possible Causes:
17088 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17088 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen sensor bank 3 sensor 1, internal resistance too large
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
