Accumulated in electronic control units so potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground also fuel pump "b" control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
17082 Possible Causes:
17082 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 17082 Code
- Inspect all the connections temperature sensors for drive cycle radiator exhaust (g382), signal too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
