17073 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more coolant degassing valve, control circuit high . So for next cylinder 9 above knock threshold is the final reason of the code. |
17073 Possible Causes:
17073 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 17073 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
