The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel level sensor 2, circuit intermittent it can suddenly lead to a significantly more malfunction indication light (k83), electrical malfunction or change pressure control solenoid 6 (n371), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
17071 Possible Causes:
17071 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 17071 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
