This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, implausible also reversing light, circuit short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
17051 Possible Causes:
17051 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 17051 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch (f189), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
