17049 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal high to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit low or change power supply, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
17049 Possible Causes:
17049 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17049 Code
- Inspect all the connections load signal, error message from ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
